Snow Daze: December 11-13th

Hollidaze New Year’s Eve: December 31st
Vail’s way of saying happy holidays and a happy new year. On December 31st at 6:15pm the community of vail will gather for the annual torchlight parade at Golden Peak. Watch the Ski instructors and vail locals form a glowing train as they ski down Golden Peak with glowing sticks, followed by a firework display.

SKADI FEST: January 20-22nd
Gather your girlfriends and join in on female specific ski demos, customized lessons and events. Vail Mountain presents ‘SKADI Fest,’ a first annual Women’s Weekend featuring equipment demo and expo village, guided ski school experience with female instructors and VIP events, all taking place in Lionshead and all necessary ingredients for a fabulous, exclusive, women’s-only event in Vail. Skadi (pronounced ‘Scotty’) means the Norse goddess of winter. In essence, this will be a gathering of skiing goddesses, near and far.

Carnival: February 6-9th
Bringing the ways of the New Orleans’s Marty Gras to the mountains, Vail will host the annual four day long ‘carnivail’. With the legendary craw fish boil and the Fat Tuesday parade and Street festival, this year’s event is certain to be another one for the books.

Taste of Vail: March 3oth-April 2nd
The Taste of Vail is the nation’s premier spring food and wine festival, held at several venues throughout North America’s favorite ski resort. During the annual four-day event, upwards of 5,000 people are able to “taste the Vail Valley lifestyle” which showcases Vail’s world-famous resort village set against dramatic mountain vistas.

Pink Vail: April 2nd
Pink Vail™, on April 2, 2016, is the world’s biggest ski day to conquer cancer. Live music, a costume contest, themed deck parties and the Celebration Ski Down bring thousands of fun-loving, pink participants together on Vail Mountain – all for a great cause.

Spring Back to Vail: April 10th
