"It was divine!"

“We are back from our wonderful 3 weeks in Greece, the last which we spent in Paros at the villa.

I wanted you to know how much we enjoyed the property, everything there was wonderful. The location of the villa in particular, was fabulous at the end of a dirt road and over the ocean. Michaelis, the manager of the villa, was superb. Many accolades to him and his cleaning lady.

The location of this family vacation villa is ideal and not played up enough in the materials. It is located in a wonderful area of Paros, a very short drive to the fun shopping and dining summer port town of Naoussa. The villa is located on a dead end road so it is very quiet and private. Even though there is another house on one side you really are not aware of it. This villa is particularly special to those of use who care about aesthetics because it is not only a rental villa, it is owned and used by a person who has many treasures built into the property which give it great character and charm. It is not one of the new, shiny, rather bland villas which you see a lot online.

The pool area is wonderfully comfortable and there is a good washer in the outbuilding. It’s best to use the drying rack in the sun for drying clothes as European dryers are hopeless. The house is pretty perfect. We were 4 people: 2 parents and 2 teens. Everyone wants their own room and we like to have an extra room, as we did here, for restless nights. The villa is on two floors, and there is a great feature of having a second, small breakfast “kitchen” upstairs near the master bedroom and living areas. This allowed us to make all our breakfast coffees and juices upstairs. The master bedroom is wonderfully white and clean; great beds everywhere. And all linens were wonderful. There were fresh towels, etc. Bathrooms are wonderful – all new.

The only not 100% thing about the villa is that the kitchen is downstairs and faces a wall. The architect and the family who own it I’m sure must not cook. But, we cooked lots and everything works well. All new. The outdoor grill is the greatest and all of the outdoor reading and dining areas make the villa the best.

Again, thank you for your help with the trip. It was divine. ”
