If Los Cabos were a person, theyd be utterly intriguing. Referred to as the dual destination, this vibrant region has two distinct personas; tranquil San Jos del Cabo a quick 10 minutes NE by car from your Time & Place vacation home and exuberant Cabo San Lucas located a further 20 minutes W on the other end of the highway (the Corridor), pulsating with funky bars, and the chic Luxury Avenue Mall centered around the marina. This is the spot for the young, edgy crowd. We are sure you will find a Los Cabos spot to fit your personality and mood.

To know the real Mexico, wander the cobbled streets of charming San Jos Del Cabo, absorbing the laid back atmosphere. After browsing the boutiques spilling out into streets, find a good vantage point at one of the cozy restaurants that line the main central square. Here, I love to watch the world go by, sipping a glass of Baja California wine or a clamato a drink made with of tomatoes, onions, celery, spices and a touch of clam. Trust me – you have to try it with beer added to it!

If its a Thursday night, be sure to catch the Art Walk (From November to June, studios and galleries around Alvaro Obregon stay open until 9pm.) Follow the throng of art aficionados behind the main square, away from the busy main streets, where you can stroll from gallery to gallery meeting artists and sipping wine. Youll discover high quality paintings, sculptures, jewelry, intricate Huichol beadwork, amber and local handicrafts. Look for that perfect memento of your luxury vacation in Los Cabos.

For a more active outing, head to Cabo San Lucas, the epicenter for play, where you can scuba dive to an underwater nature preserve, or plan a deep-sea fishing adventure or whale watching excursion from the marina. After the sun slides into the golden ocean on yet another perfect day, Cabo San Lucas nightlife comes alive in bars and nightclubs. Feel free to join the salsa dancing crowds late into the night. Your Time & Place vacation home will be waiting for your return, serene, overlooking the golf course and the nearby ocean.
